The week of May 7-11, 2018 is dedicated to a global call to action to transform the way governments serve their citizens. This is the week during which open government doers, leaders, and thinkers from around the world will come together to share ideas, discuss solutions, and commit to new levels of citizen participation in government.
The Government of Moldova, member of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) since 2012, together with its partners from the public sector, civil society, the business community, academia, international partners, are convening a series of events during that week as well.
Moldova State Chancellery, E-Government Center, and the Open Government Institute are convening two interactive workshops, with focal points from line ministries, civil society representatives, mass media, developers, academia:
- 8th of May – Interactive Workshop on “Co-creation of Moldova National Action Plan on Open Government for years 2019-2002”
The main results of the event will serve as a basis for the possible commitments for the new Action Plan on Open Government (for years 2019-2020).
- 10th of May – Open Data Workshop
The main results of the event will inform the regional study on open data, while the key insights will serve as a basis for the identification of commitments for the new Action Plan on Open Government (for years 2019-2020).
